Finite source from geodetic data
The rupture distribution along the seismic source is derived from the analysis of displacement maps (InSAR) obtained through the processing of Sentinel-1, European Space Agency, radar images. InSAR data are produced by the EPOSAR (IREA-CNR) service.

Focal Plane FP1

This source model, derived from 1 InSAR dataset(s) including 7 post-event days, is characterized by a single W-E oriented fault (strike 81°), dipping towards the S at 18° degrees and a nearly pure inverse rupture (rake 86°). Slip peak is approximately 2.7 m at a depth of 4.6 km. The energy released is 3.8E+18 Nm, corresponding to an M 6.3 earthquake.
